In November 2014, the €300m VTTV terminal opened for business, designed and constructed by VTTI. Its strategic location makes it the first terminal of its kind in the Eastern Mediterranean, connecting Europe and the Black Sea with markets in the Middle East and Asia. The asset currently comprises 28 tanks and capacity of 544,000 m³, and offers access to a deep water marine jetty as well as to road tanker loading facilities. A Phase 2 expansion is currently under evaluation and would create an additional 13 tanks and further capacity of 305,000 m³.
- Operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- A single ‘T’ formation jetty with four berthing positions, inclusive of mooring restrains, fendering systems and product containment provision.
- Jetty is compliant with the provisions of ISPS Code.
- Type of bottom is sandy for all berths.
- Ship to ship transfers are to be done using vessels’ own pumps.
- Products handled as per storage contract agreements are clean products.
- Ship to ship transfer capabilities for both clean and also dirty products (fuel oil/ crude oil).
- No air draft restrictions, or daylight restrictions.
- The lines located on berths 3 and 4 are fitted with pigging facilities in order to fully empty the lines. Lines will be purged with nitrogen. Berths 1 and 2 will be emptied at low drain connection points by portable pumps.
- All quarantine and customs formalities (free pratique) shall be carried out at anchorage point.

- Allowable draft for channel is 30 meters.
- Density of water is sea water 1,025.
- For the local tide table at Vasiliko, refer to Limassol port.
- Local Ballast water Regulations are according to ‘MARPOL Regulations for special areas (Mediterranean Sea)’.
- Bunkering / supply services only by sea side of vessel and only before or after operations, and always with consent of the Terminal Representative.
- Crew and vessel/tanker personnel are not permitted to leave the vessel. Exceptions only after consent of the Terminal Representative.
